A ManifestationThe year of 2017 has been one of intense situational, spiritual, and emotional transformation. Prior to this point, I was unhealthy in every regard, unhappy with the direction of my life, and felt lost in my sense of self. For years I dragged on in a state of mediocracy, until I finally hit rock bottom at the end of 2016, which was the necessary catalyst to begin taking control.
Determined, I wiped the slate clean and redirected my life down the path in which I always desired, but was afraid to pursue. By letting go of both internal and external limitations, I created space for myself to dive into new possibilities. While exploring next steps with this change of mind, opportunities arose that I never thought possible. At this point, I realized: your mind and spirit must change before your circumstances will.
I chose to align my energies with light and self-love, take initiative of what I could control, and accept the things I could not. Only then, the rest fell into place. I quit a stressful job I wasn’t passionate about, stopped all antidepressants after 10 years of reliance, let go of relationships that were no longer serving me, lost 45 lbs (20.4 kg), and moved to my dream city: Paris.
In the midst of this, I decided to start my blog, The Fearless Light (formerly Only Wear Dresses), in order to share the invaluable lessons I’ve learned. My goal with this platform is to motivate others to recognize their value, stop fearing the reality of their limitless potential, and relentlessly pursue the life they deserve. I want you to walk away from every post feeling more confident, uplifted, and inspired, with the ultimate goal of helping you become the best YOU.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?
“…It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others”
